A clearer way to chooseprofessional services abroad
Lexicomb is a marketplace for founders and small businesses seeking professional services in another country. One structured request lets clients compare offers by scope, price, timing, exclusions, and additional costs.
Services are delivered by independent professionals and firms admitted to the marketplace for the relevant service and jurisdiction.
Start my business with LexicombWhy we are building Lexicomb
Lexicomb was created by founders with more than 30 years of professional experience each in international legal services. Their experience includes building, developing, and leading GRATA International, founded in Kazakhstan in 1992 and later expanded internationally.
Over the years, they repeatedly encountered the same problems: finding a reliable local professional, comparing offers with different scopes and prices, relying on personal referrals, and arranging cross-border payments.
“The same transaction creates different risks: the client pays before receiving the work, while the provider may work before receiving payment. Lexicomb's payment sequence is designed around that tension.
How the marketplace works
The client submits one structured request.
Verified providers submit comparable offers.
The client selects a provider and pays through Lexicomb before work begins.
Payment is released to the provider after the client confirms completion of the agreed scope.
This sequence addresses a risk on each side: work begins after the client pays, and payment is released to the provider after the client accepts the agreed work under the platform rules. The selected provider performs and remains responsible for the agreed scope of professional work. Acceptance, cancellation, refund, and dispute procedures are governed by the platform rules.
How providers are verified
Identity & liveness check
Document, facial, and liveness verification for every provider, through Shufti Pro.
Experience & right to practice
Lexicomb reviews the provider's experience, professional profile or firm website, and checks their right to perform the selected service in the relevant jurisdiction.
Final admission decision
Lexicomb makes the final decision on whether a provider is admitted to the marketplace.
Anonymised until verified
Before verification and accepting the provider terms, a provider sees only an anonymised request and cannot submit an offer — the client's identity, contacts, and documents stay hidden until then.
Verification supports informed selection but does not guarantee professional work or a decision made by a bank, regulator, public authority, or other third party.
Our role
Lexicomb structures requests, makes offers easier to compare, verifies providers, sets participation rules, and supports transactions through the platform.
Lexicomb does not itself provide legal, accounting, immigration, banking, or other professional services. The independent provider remains responsible for its advice and for completing the agreed scope of work.
Fees and availability
14% service fee
Added on top of the provider's price; payment-processing costs are already included.
Additional costs may apply
Government charges and other mandatory or third-party costs may be additional, when stated in the offer.
Nine service categories
Lexicomb is a commercially launched platform based in Kazakhstan, expanding its provider network across nine service categories.
Availability by jurisdiction
Depends on approved providers being available for the selected service and jurisdiction.
For professional service providers
Lexicomb is onboarding independent professionals and firms serving clients with cross-border business needs. Participation is subject to verification and the platform terms; Lexicomb does not guarantee a fixed volume of requests.
